Niagara on the Lake Overview
The beautiful, peaceful town of Niagara On The Lake. Unspoilt by commercialism with little traffic this small town is not far from Niagara Falls but is world's apart.

Niagara-on-the-Lake is a must-do day trip. This charming town of beautiful gardens has won “The Prettiest Town in Canada” competition as well as placing second in the “Prettiest Town in the World” contest. Niagara-on-the-Lake is on Ontario’s wine route and 40 wineries are within an easy drive of the Victorian town. From April through November the town is the performance venue for the Shaw festival where three theaters feature productions by George Bernard Shaw. To get to Niagara-on-the-Lake from Toronto follow the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) toward Niagara. Once across the Garden City Skyway at St Catharines, take the Niagara-on-the-Lake exit (38B).
